Open and ready to flush.

2A. 86 lb. bull calf born 3/25/07 out of Cooley Ryan 205R at side. PHN 1882T2.

This special attraction female is from the mating of the time-tested Basin Max 602C to Finks Bonnie 9323 6281 6148. Lot 2 is one of our top income producing females having produced the $27,000 Future Direction daughter we sold in the 2006 Breeders Select sale to Kevin Asbury in Missouri. We are retaining a flushmate, Ms Cooley Future Dir 1882R, to help anchor our donor battery. In addition, two Future Direction sons sold in our bull sale last fall with one selling for $8,000 to Clay White and the other for $6,250 to Keith Cargill. Two spring 2006 Future Direction daughters will also be an important part of our Angus program and their flush brother will sell this fall in our annual fall bull
sale.

Lot 2 records a top 3% of the breed YW with top 10% $B, REA and WW and top 15% IMF. Also as a donor, she produced 42 good embryos on 7 flushes. Many of our visitors to the ranch have commented on her spectacular phenotype. 1882 is one of the most powerful, easiest fleshing Angus females you will see anywhere. She is sure to be a crowd favorite!

1882 is a one-of-a-kind daughter of Basin Max 602C. His progeny are known and respected for fleshing ability and minimum maintenance requirements in all environments, traits of high priority and importance as we trend toward higher feed costs. In addition, he is one of the high accuracy curve benders for birth to yearling
spread with added scrotal circumference.

The bottom side of her pedigree includes such noted sires as Finks 5522-6148 and Rito 9J9 of B156 7T26 and she is linebred to A A R New Trend.

The bull calf selling at side is one of only three calves born to date out of Cooley Ryan
205R. Ryan is a young sire we are very excited about. He scanned a 10.2 IMF to ratio 191 while ratioing 100 for REA. His pedigree contains no Precision/Bando 155 or New Design/New Trend genetics and yet he still ranks in the top fraction of a percent of the breed among non-parent bulls for IMF, top 15% for REA and scrotal circumference
and top 10% for WW and YW. His dam, an outstanding daughter of VRD sells as Lot 47, and his grandam, a direct daughter of GT Max sells as Lot 48, are prolific embryo producers whose impact will be felt in our herd for years to come. This bull calf combining Ryan with the proven and powerful 1882 donor has the potential to be
a very unique and valuable herd sire and potential semen seller, don’t overlook him or his dam.
