Camp Cooley Ranch® To Host Multi-Events

Franklin, TX - Camp Cooley Ranch®, Franklin, Texas will host several events on July 30th and July 31st for beef producers.

On Saturday, July 30th they will host the Texas Angus Association (TAA) Field day. The day long event will allow TAA members and Angus enthusiasts to network about their programs and attend seminars on topics pertinent to the seedstock industry and the field of reproduction.

The event will start at 9 a.m. with registration and then the seminars will start at 10 a.m., followed by lunch. The seminars will continue from 1-2 p,.m., concluding with a ranch tour.

In addition the Texas Junior Charolais Association (TJCA) will hold a leadership retreat July 30th and 31st at Camp Cooley Ranch®, Franklin, Texas.

The two day event is designed to equip members with a broader knowledge of the beef industry, strengthen leadership and public relations skills as well as expand friendships.

The program lineup includes motivational and educational speakers, a tour of Ultimate Genetics, one of the country¹s leading AI and embryo transfer companies, and a workshop geared to feeding and showmanship.

Then on Sunday, July 31st a ranch tour will be held for cattlemen, prior to the start of the 51st annual Texas A&M Beef Short Course Camp Cooley Ranch® is located northeast of Franklin, Texas on Hwy. 79.
