Camp Cooley Ranch® To Host "Blazing New Trails" Sale, November 17-19

Franklin, TX - Plans are being finalized for Camp Cooley Ranch®’s annual female and bull sale, Blazing New Trails, November 17-19th. This will be one of the largest bull sales in the country as 1,200 head of Brangus, Angus and Charolais bulls will sell in addition to 120 registered Brangus females. The bull line-up includes 650 Brangus, 350 Angus and 200 Charolais bulls.

Camp Cooley Ranch® program is known for their performance backed cattle and their customer service programs and industry alliance partnerships. Their Producer Revenue Enhancement Program (P.R.E.P.) provides unique marketing options for their customers and they have a very established cooperator program.

Sale activities will kick- off on Thursday, November 17th at 1 p.m with a presentation on P.R.E.P. by Bill Pendergrass and Doug Husfeld. Also Kenny Edgars with Texas Animal Health Commission will also provide an update on the national ID program.

Then the Brangus female will be at 4 p.m., followed by a steak supper. Then early Friday, November 18th, bulls will be available for viewing and the Brangus bull sale will begin at 10 a.m. The Angus bulls will sell at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 19th, followed by the Charolais bulls at approximately 1 p.m.

Each bull sells with EPD data, complete ultrasound and performance information and is backed by Camp Cooley Ranch®. The ranch also offers a sight unseen guarantee program for those who will be unable to attend the sale and buyers can participate through Superior Livestock on RFD-TV. Thursday and Friday’s sales will have live audio at www.campcooley.com only. Saturday’s sale will be braodcast live on RFD-TV.
