For Immediate Release
November 18, 2005 Franklin, TX -In a repeat of Friday's record-breaking performance cattlemen from across America tipped their hats to the strength of Camp Cooley genetics by generating another exceptionally strong sale.
Registered and commercial cattlemen alike participated in an extremely active sale of 535 Brangus bulls. Over 500 registered buyers from twenty two states and Mexico, were anxious to buy registered Brangus bulls from the premier seedstock producer of the breed.
A deep line-up of herd sires drove up the sale's strong average but the sale barn was packed with progressive commercial cattlemen purchasing rancher bulls ranging in price from $1,500 to $5,000.
Mirroring Thursday's female sale Mike Weathers and Chimney Rock Brangus again selected the high selling lots of the day. During the Brangus bull sale Mike Weathers, Columbus, Texas, bought the high selling bull. The proven herd sire and ever popular, Brinks Bright Side 607L11 commanded an impressive final bid of $45,000.
