

Quality Assured Brangus Bulls Sell in Alabama
Letohatchee , AL — Customers from across the southern United States gathered in Letohatchee , Alabama for the Quality Assured Brangus Bull Sale, Saturday, December 8. Cattlemen demonstrated their belief in quality Brangus genetics and bid accordingly.
The high-selling bull was Lot 152, Brinks Garrett 468S72, purchased by Enzor Brangus, Frisco City , Alabama for $31,000. This fall yearling was a herd sire prospect deluxe, sired by Garrett of Brinks 789P and out of a daughter of Bright Side of Brinks 789G5.
The second high-selling bull was Lot 14, Brinks Lead Gun 40S22, purchased by

Plantation, Dr. Kevin Dean, Pensacola , Florida , for $10,500. This impressive Lead Gun son was out of a daughter of Brinks Picasso 675H23 and posted impressive carcass numbers.
The volume buyer was Mike Tomkow, Tomkow Brothers, Lakeland , Florida , who purchased 14 bulls.
Seventeen yearling bulls were sold for a total of $75,950, averaging $4,468. The coming two-year old bulls totaled $299,750, averaging $2,498 on 120 head. The sale grossed $375,700, averaging $2,742 on 137 Brangus bulls.
